Who we are The Pearl at Westside Christian Church is a dynamic multi-cultural, urban church who meets both the spiritual and physical needs of our community. We are also focused on planting churches that do the same.
The Pearl at Westside Christian Church exists to serve CHRIST and the community through discipleship, ministry, and worship of the one true GOD. We do all this through various local ministries, programs and dynamic worship experience on Sunday mornings.
What we believe We believe in GOD as FATHER, SON and HOLY SPRIT. We believe GOD is the creator of all things and that GOD loves human kind eternally. We believe JESUS is the SON of GOD and Savior of the world. We believe the HOLY SPRIT indwells, empowers, and enables Christians to live like CHRIST. The HOLY SPIRIT guides the body of CHRIST [the Church] as a whole. We believe in patterning our Church after the New Testament record. We believe in baptism by immersion for those who confess faith in CHRIST. We believe in observing the LORD's Supper on a weekly basis as testified to in the New Testament. We believe the motto "in essentials unity, in opinions liberty, in all things love." We believe the BIBLE is the inspired and infallible WORD of GOD. |
